3-Day Mount Meru Climb
Overview
Rising majestically within Arusha National Park, Mount Meru is Tanzania’s second-highest peak and Africa’s fifth tallest mountain. Often used as preparation for Mount Kilimanjaro, this trek offers a more challenging and rewarding experience.
Over three days, climbers pass through lush forests, open moorlands, and alpine desert landscapes. One of the highlights of this trek is the chance to see wildlife such as giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and baboons along the way.
For safety, all treks are accompanied by a professional armed park ranger. The route provides excellent acclimatization and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
