After your final wildlife encounters, begin your journey back to Arusha. Due to the long distance, this transfer is typically done either by a scheduled light aircraft flight from the Serengeti to Arusha, or by an extended overland drive (often 8–10+ hours, sometimes split with a stopover).
Upon arrival in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro International Airport, connect with your onward travel arrangements.
