Detailed Itinerary

DAY TRIP: Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park Safari

Your day begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup from Zanzibar and transfer to the airport.

Board a scheduled morning flight to Mikumi National Park, enjoying scenic aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes. Upon arrival, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your game drive.

Mikumi is part of the larger Selous ecosystem and is known for its wide open plains, making wildlife easy to spot. During your safari, you may encounter:

  • Elephants roaming in herds

  • Giraffes and zebras grazing

  • Buffalo and wildebeests

  • Hippos near waterholes
