DAY 2: Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, located about two hours from Arusha.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife.

During your game drive you may see:

  • Elephants in large groups

  • Lions and possibly leopards

  • Zebras and wildebeests

  • Giraffes and buffalo

  • Various bird species

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive.

DAY 1:Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your On Target Safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

This day is for relaxation and preparation before your safari begins. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the city or simply enjoy your hotel surroundings.

DAY 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, head to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend into the crater, one of Africa’s most unique wildlife areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five.

During your safari you may encounter:

  • Lions and hyenas

  • Buffalo and zebras

  • Hippos in freshwater pools

  • The rare black rhino

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing your game drive.

DAY 4: Lake Manyara National Park & Return to Arusha
